the products and services refered to below include, but are not limited to, every offer that is available on elisabeth-ann pitt’s website, in her shop, in her acuity scheduling page or through any link that she provides. elisabeth-ann pitt may be referred to as “the coach” or “the life coach”. the client represents those who have received a product or service from elisabeth-ann pitt, whether they paid monetary value for it or whether it was free.

Return Policy

By purchasing products or services from elisabeth-ann pitt, the Client agrees to pay the amount in full unless there is an agreed upon payment plan. There are no refunds for the products and services sold by elisabeth-ann pitt. It is recommended that potential clients inquire about the products and services before purchasing in the case of any uncertainty.

Terms of Service

  1. elisabeth-ann pitt cannot guarantee that the Client will be able to fulfill all exercises alone and/or with ease, as it may be beyond the scope of experience of some people. The products and services are meant for people who already have a certain level of knowledge or experience with coaching methods and terms. elisabeth-ann pitt is not responsible to ensure that every client has a full understanding of the products or services. If further assistance or support is needed beyond the support included in the product or service, the client can purchase additional products or services. elisabeth-ann pitt offers e-mail support although it is limited to certain questions and types of support as some elements of support require coaching and assistance that are a part of paid products or services. therefore, elisabeth-ann pitt cannot provide free coaching or support. if it is beyond the scope of what she can provide through e-mail or chat, elisabeth-ann pitt will simply state that she cannot support the client any further without compensation.

  2. It is the responsibility of the Client to inform themselves about whether or not products or services are for them prior to purchasing. elisabeth-ann pitt is therefore not responsible for, but not limited to, the following: if the client isn’t pleased by their purchase, if the client doesn’t like, enjoy or understand they purchase, if the client doesn’T deem the purchase worthy of the price paid.

  3. The benefits mentioned in product and service descriptions and materials are suggestive but they are not guaranteed or promised. The Life Coach, Elisabeth Ann Pitt, cannot promise any specific outcomes for clients, whether the client is working individually in the Light Program or whether the Client receives direct contact and one on one coaching.

  4. The Client is fully responsible for creating and implementing his or her own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results arising out of or resulting from the coaching program, Light Community Calls and interactions with the Coach (Elisabeth Ann Pitt). As such, the Client agrees that the Coach is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services or products provided by the Coach (Elisabeth Ann Pitt).

  5. The Client understands that coaching is not therapy and it does not substitute for therapy if needed, and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease. The Client acknowledges that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the Canadian Psychiatric Association and that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals and that it is the Client’s exclusive responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed. If the client is currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended that the Client promptly inform the mental health care provider of the nature and extent of the coaching work involved in any coaching service or product purchased.

  6. The Client acknowledges that coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve different areas of his or her life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation. The Client agrees that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching principles into those areas and implementing choices is exclusively the Client’s responsibility.

  7. The Client understands that in order to enhance the benefits gained from coaching products and services, the Client agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance and to create the time and energy to participate fully in the program.

Privacy Policy

Personal information that may identify the Client is not disclosed or shared publicly, however it may be available to other team members working with elisabeth-ann pitt in her coaching practice. team members respect confidentiality and the privacy policy announced in this contract, certain services (such as the Light Community Calls) are recorded. Clients are referred to with a first name only, however the Client may choose to use an alias in that context if one wants to fully conceal one’s identity from other clients. The Client must reveal their real identity to the Coach, and must inform the Coach of any importance or relevance related to maintaining confidentiality or anonymity. Situational or circumstantial information about the Client and/or their story may be used for educational purposes and/or to provide examples in coaching work/products/services  however if so is the case, the Coach will change the identifying information (names, titles, locations, location-specific details or details that may identify a public personality) to maintain confidentiality. It is the responsibility of the Client to ask the Coach not to refer to their stories, although identities and specific details are concealed. The terms cannot be altered.

However, please be aware that the Coach-Client relationship is not considered a legally confidential relationship (like the medical and legal professions) and thus communications are not subject to the protection of any legally recognized privilege. The Coach agrees not to disclose any information pertaining to the Client without the Client’s written consent. The Coach will not disclose the Client’s name as a reference without the Client’s consent. Confidential Information does not include information that: (a) was in the Coach’s possession prior to its being furnished by the Client; (b) is generally known to the public or in the Client’s industry; (c) is obtained by the Coach from a third party, without breach of any obligation to the Client; (d) is independently developed by the Coach without use of or reference to the Client’s confidential information; or (e) the Coach is required by statute, lawfully issued subpoena, or by court order to disclose; (f) is disclosed to the Coach and as a result of such disclosure the Coach reasonably believes there to be an imminent or likely risk of danger or harm to the Client or others; and (g) involves illegal activity. The Client also acknowledges his or her continuing obligation to raise any confidentiality questions or concerns with the Coach in a timely manner.
